HPD Officer Home Recovering from Covid

A Houston Police sergeant is out of the hospital after battling the coronavirus and undergoing rehab for 80-days.

Sergeant Arturo Bazan was released from the hospital on Thursday.

His wife Sheryle says there were times they weren't sure he would survive.

Bazan was on a ventilator for 55 days, followed by therapy to regain his strength.

Several police officers showed their support by providing Bazan an escort for the ride home.
