A major U.S. city is trying to lower the voting age

A major American city may lower the voting age to sixteen. Texas Senator John Cornyn thinks that's a bad idea.

There is a proposal in San Francisco that will go to voters, who will decide if 16-year olds can vote in local elections. Cornyn told KTRH this may only be the beginning of what the left really wants to do.

"It's one of a long list of crazy ideas, whether its Medicare for All or the Green New Deal. It just goes on and on and on," Cornyn said.

Cornyn says between all of that and defunding the police the country as you know it may never be the same.

"They are going to take the county in a directions that will make it unrecognizable," Cornyn explained.
