Is critical race theory the thought police on steroids?

You're hearing a lot about critical race theory lately. Some think it's the thought police gone wild.

In fact, U-H political science professor Jacquie Baly says critical race theory is nothing more than fighting racism with more racism.

"The thought process behind this is if you have a certain demographic makeup, everything that you do is about making sure that others of other demographic backgrounds are suppressed," Baly explained.

The Trump administration has banned critical race training for federal employees, and Baly says it's a good call.

"Specifically it;'s infringing on using many dollars to increase this type of thought process," Baly stated, adding that critical race training infringes on constitutional rights, and the teaching of it has led to the violence we have seen in the streets.
