International Travel Returns to Houston Airports

The world is starting to come to life again after the long pause for the pandemic.

More than a dozen air carriers are resuming international flights from Houston's two airports.

Following a steep drop in air travel as a result of the pandemic, nearly two-thirds of the carriers that provide international service at Bush Intercontinental and Hobby have restored their flights.

The carriers include Aero Mexico, Air Canada, Air France, Emirates, EVA Air, KLM, Lufthansa, Qatar [[ gutter ]] Airways, Southwest, Spirit, Turkish Airlines, United, Viva Aerobus, and Volaris.

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner welcomed the news.
