Self-Driving Cars Coming to Houston

Self-driving vehicles meant for delivering groceries are coming to Houston.

Nuro says the company has received a regulatory exemption from the federal government for their R2 vehicle.

The R2 will be used to delivery groceries with specs showing it has a top speed of 25 miles-per-hour, a sound generator for pedestrian safety, and a touch screen for customer access or law enforcement interaction.

Public road testing in Houston will start in a few weeks.
