Harris County Precinct One Constables arrested Damarquis Mcgee, 21, on suspicion of human trafficking, sexual assault of a child and compelling prostitution.
Investigators learned the 14-year-old-victim had run away from home in July of 2019. They believe McGee forced her to work as a prostitute between that date and December of 2019. She told deputies Mcgee physically and sexually abused her repeatedly during that time period.
Deputies in Precinct One’s Human Trafficking Division were able to rescue the victim. She was offered access to the wrap-around victim services offered through our office to victims of human trafficking.
Investigators believe McGee may have other victims.
