Another person has destroyed some of Galveston’s history by damaging a headstone in historic Broadway Cemeteries . 35-year-old Eric Deshaun Williams faces a felony charge and is in the Galveston County Jail on $40,000 bond. Earlier in November, 40 year old Corey Johnson, was charged with felony criminal mischief after he reportedly damaged 18 historic headstones, some more than 150 years old. Officials say the headstones from the 1800s are irreplaceable.
