Ohio Inmates on the Loose

The Gallia County (Ohio) Jail lost four inmates Sunday morning. They escaped together and officials are sure they had assistance from at least one person on the outside. County Sheriff Matt Champlin said the four inmates overpowered a female corrections officer with a homemade weapon. The four inmates made their way to the jail's administrative wing where they stole the keys of a correction officer's vehicle. After that they took that vehicle down the street for about a block where they moved into another vehicle that was waiting for them. That vehicle was later found in Pennsylvania.

Authorities stress that these men could be anywhere in the U.S. now. All of the inmates are considered to be extremely dangerous.
