Worker Seriously Injured in Industrial Accident at Randalls

A worker was critically injured in an industrial accident at a Randalls near the Woodlands.

This accident happened around 10a.m. Friday at the store at 2250 Buckthorne Place.

The Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office says the 50-year-old had a work order to recharge a refrigeration system on the second floor of the store.

Authorities say, there was an overpressure in the line, which caused a rupture.

The man was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in The Woodlands.

He is in critical condition.

Employees and customers inside the Randalls have been evacuated as the fire marshal investigates and makes sure the building is safe.

No other injuries reported.

There is no gas leak or danger to the surrounding area.
