A 15-year-old boy is dead after allegedly being shot by his 17-year-old friend in north Houston last night.
The shooting took place just before 9 o'clock last night on Greens Road near Imperial Valley.
When officers got there, they found the teen dead outside of an apartment.
Officials said the 17-year-old drove off after the shooting. He was later found not far from the scene and taken into custody for questioning.
Law enforcement has not determined if the shooting was accidental. Family members say they doubt it was an accident.
