A Police Dog (Canine Officer) helped end the Houston SWAT Action Sunday afternoon. A suspected firearm thief had barricaded himself inside a northwest Houston home. Authorities say the unidentified suspect was repeatedly asked to come out - but refused. After hours of preparation and other attempts to negotiate with the suspect, SWAT team entered the home. Their Canine Officer found the suspect hiding in the attic duct work. The dog bit him. The suspect was arrested.
