POLL: Houston Drivers Are Not Very Aggressive

Gas Buddy’s list of the top cities in America ranked by aggressive drivers did not include Houston, and in an informal survey of area commuters, that was surprising.

“I would definitely put Houston on a list of aggressive drivers,” said one man. “It’s all I see.”

Gas Buddy looked at the top 30 cities by population and determined these were the worst.

1. Los Angeles

2. Philadelphia

3. Sacramento

4. Atlanta

5. San Francisco

6. San Diego

7. Orlando

8. Detroit

9. Austin, TX

10. Las Vegas

According to AAA, signs of aggressive driving include speeding in heavy traffic, tailgating, cutting in front of another driver and then slowing down, running red lights, weaving in and out of traffic, no turn signals, blocking cars from passing or changing lanes, using headlights or brakes to “punish” other drivers.
