If you’re looking for relief from the pain you’ve been feeling at the pump, we have bad news for you. It’s not happening anytime soon.
“Prices are up on average about four cents on the week,” said Daniel Armbruster of AAA Texas, adding that the average around Houston is now $2.20 a gallon.
There is a silver lining though.
“They are still seven cents lower than they were a year ago,” Armbruster stated.
But that’s about all the good news we can give you when it comes to gas prices. Armbruster says you should expect the prices to keep going up through the month of March, and that they’ve already gone up by 16% this year.
