Teen Killed in Southeast Houston Gun Battle

A southeast Houston neighborhood fight leads to a gunfight that leaves one teen dead this morning, according to Houston police.

It happened around 10 p.m. Sunday on Glenhollow Drive at Tavenor.

Two groups of males fought then gunshots rang out. Bullets hit two people on scene. One was a teenager. The 15 or 16-year-old was then transported to the hospital, where he died.

A second victim was shot, left the location before the PD arrived and later, ended up home.

Police don't know that person's injuries, nor how that second shooting victims is tied to the shooting.

Police say folks involved were seen in a small green car, but hoping more interviews will lead to more information.
