(Houston, TX) -- Former Texans general manager Rick Smith is thanking the Houston community for its support after the death of his wife on Thursday.
Tiffany Smith passed away after a long struggle with breast cancer. Smith took a leave of absence from the team following the end of the 2017 season, after announcing his wife had cancer. The Smiths had been married 17 years and have three children.
