(Washington, DC) -- Several Texas Democrats are joining other federal lawmakers to oppose a measure to fund a border wall.
In recent days, U.S. Representatives Joaquín Castro, Vicente González, Henry Cuellar and others joined several Democrats in signing a letter to Senator Chuck Schumer rejecting a proposal to begin negotiating border wall funding with the Trump administration.
The letter calls on Senator Schumer not to consider any funding whatsoever for a border wall.
