Another school threat made against a local school caused a lockdown today. But that lockdown has been lifted and the person who made the threat is in custody.
Goose Creek Memorial High School was placed on lockdown after a threat was made against the school on social media. But Goose Creek CISD officials quickly reacted and resolved the situation.
In a post to their Facebook page, the district said, “The lockdown at GCM is over. A student has been taken into custody for making a nonspecific threat on social media. There were no weapons involved and no one was injured. All students and staff are safe.”
