Texans face Giants in home opener Sunday

The Houston Texans are back in action on Sunday, and after playing the first two games of the 2018 season on the road, the Texans will be home to their fans at NRG Stadium when they take on the New York Giants.

The bad news is that the Texans are still looking for their first win of the season. The good news is the Giants are in the same boat. Despite the 0-2 start, quarterback Deshaun Watson says there isn’t any extra urgency in the Texans’ locker room.

“I keep the same energy. I just watch the tape, learn from it and focus on the next opponent,” Watson said.

Coach Bill O’Brien said he could sit there and get upset over the record, but he thinks there is something to build off after last Sunday’s loss in Tennessee; the fact that receiver Will Fuller is healthy and giving defenses headaches.

“I thought that helped us a lot. We’ve got to improve every day and take it one day at a time. But we have to continue to improve,” O’Brien stated.

Sunday’s kickoff at NRG Stadium is at Noon.
