Last week was rough for the Washington elites, who tried and failed to take down President Trump with an op-ed in the New York Times, a book by Bob Woodward, and grandstanding by Senators during the hearings to confirm Supreme Court Justice Nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
It doesn't appear any of those things actually worked. Don Hooper with the Houston Conservative Forum says it all goes back to one thing; the left is still upset over the election loss.
“None of it has worked,” Hooper said, referring to the tactics used by the left since the 2016 election.
And as long as Trump is sticking by his campaign promises, Hooper says nothing will change.
“His opponents don’t recognize the Trump base voted for him to accomplish his goals,” Hooper said.
But, if he stopped delivering on those promises, you might see a different story.
