Houston police say a distraught 20-year-old woman who had been sexually assaulted Sunday near Hobby Airport tried to kill herself after climbing into a trash dumpster.
The woman reported that she'd been talking with a man in a Morley Street apartment complex laundry room, then went with him to a vacant unit around 11 p.m. Once inside, the woman told police, she was sexually assaulted.
After getting away, she walked to the 8300 block of Broadway and climbed into a dumpster where she repeatedly stabbed herself in the neck.
