West Nile Turning Up In Montgomery County Mosquitoes

(Conroe, TX)  --  Montgomery County health officials say the West Nile virus is more widespread among local mosquito populations this year than in recent seasons.

The Mosquito Abatement Department says 37 positive samples have been collected in the county this year, 28 of which were in The Woodlands alone.  The department is spraying streets and mosquito breeding areas, including Spring Creek.

The good news is, there are no cases reported in Montgomery County this year of a person coming down with West Nile.
