Texas EquuSearch Running Low On Money

(Houston, TX)  --  A local nonprofit that helps police look for missing persons is facing a funding crisis.  Founder Tim Miller says Texas EquuSearch is running out of money.

Miller says the organization is still busy, but donations decreased after Harvey hit town last year.  He says he's used 36-thousand-dollars of his own money to keep the organization afloat for the past three months.

Miller founded Texas EquuSearch in 2000 after his own daughter was kidnapped and murdered.

Miller tells our TV partner KPRC Channel 2 that he's planning a fundraiser to be held in October. He needs new doners.
