(Houston, TX) -- Students and cycling activists are demanding something be done about an intersection near the Rice campus they see as dangerous.
Bike Houston and other bicycling enthusiasts demonstrated on Thursday at the intersection of Main Street and Sunset. They carried signs calling for the city and the university to take action after two cyclists were killed there in a little over a year.
One of the fatalities was last week, when a young woman was hit by a truck.
