Irma No Longer a Hurricane

Good riddance, Hurricane Irma. 

The storm was downgraded to a still-powerful tropical storm Monday morning in northern Florida as it moved toward Georgia and other southeastern states, reports USA Today. Irma still had winds of 70mph, along with pounding rain, and nearly 6 million people across Florida remained without power, reports CNN.

 As of 8am, Irma was about 100 miles north of Tampa. Authorities in Florida asked people to continue sheltering in place so they could clean up streets and assess damage.
