The 2017 Major Applewhite Golf Classic has been set for June 19, at the Kingwood Country Club. The event, which benefits the Houston Football restricted fund, is set for a 1 p.m. shotgun start with registration and lunch opening at 11:30 a.m.
The event is chaired by Darryl Schroeder and Garry Plotkin.
Participation comes in a variety of forms such as individual entries, foursomes and hole sponsorships. Houston fans can also advertise their companies and organizations by selecting a number of hole, corporate and title sponsor packages beginning at $250.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on a number of items such as a private plane trip to an away Houston Football game, Golden Nugget Lake Charles package and golf with Coach Major Applewhite.
