The Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers, two teams that began the 2013 NFL season with high expectations, are set to meet tonight in a battle of teams that have struggled out of the gate.

The 49ers, who lost in the Super Bowl to the Baltimore Ravens, opened the season with a win over the Green Bay packers, but lost two in a row before routing the St. Louis Rams last week.

The Texans are also 2-2, but could very well be 0-4. Houston opened the season with a stirring come from behind win over the San Diego Chargers and then came back to beat the Tennessee Titans to start the season 2-0.

But then Matt Schaub & Company went on the road and lost to the Baltimore Ravens before returning home to lose to the Seattle Seahawks in overtime last week.

And speaking of Schaub, the veteran has had his problems this season. He has thrown interceptions that have returned for touchdowns in three straight games. But he says he isn’t thinking about those mistakes anymore.

“I just go right back to work. That’s what you have to do. It was just one play,” Schaub told reporters.

The quarterback has been the subject of fan anger. A Schaub jersey was burned after last Sunday’s loss in the Reliant Stadium parking lot. Many fans on Twitter let him know how they felt as well.

It all caused Schaub to de-activate his Twitter account. But he says it had nothing to do with the fans.

“I haven’t been on there since January. It has nothing to do with it; I’m just not a big social media guy. It doesn’t affect me,” Schaub explained.
