Houston Texans fans are getting a bad name after a smattering of cheers was heard after one of their own went down.

Struggling quarterback Matt Schaub was injured late in the third quarter of Sunday's 38-13 loss to the St. Louis Rams, prompting some in attendance at Reliant Stadium to applaud his exit. Schaub had thrown an interception for a touchdown in four consecutive games entering the contest before backup T.J. Yates made it five straight games for a Texans' QB to do so when he entered in place of the injured signal-caller.

Head coach Gary Kubiak had considered benching Schaub prior to this game because of his struggles.

Schaub was 15-for-21 for 186 yards before leaving with what the team is calling an ankle injury.
