Friends talk of the remarkable attitude of the Stay family.

Six of the seven members were shot to death, execution style, last week and  they were laid to rest yesterday at the chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Family friend Don Guthrie says the lone survivor, teenager Cassidy Stay, is showing remarkable composure.

“She's seen indescribable things,” Guthrie says, “yet she can stand there with wonder and hope which is, to me, amazing.”

Moriah Davis gave dance lessons to six-year-old Rebecca and eight-year-old Emily.

“Every song (she would say) -- oh, that's my favorite song, oh, that's my favorite song,” Davis remembers.  “And so, she really made the class exciting every week.”

The Stay family members were murdered July 9th.
