You aren’t hearing much nationally about the crisis at the Texas-Mexico border these days. But that doesn’t mean the problem has gone away. It hasn’t. And judging by the results of a new survey, it could even get worse down the road.

According to the Pew Research Center, Mexican citizens are not happy with the direction of their country, and one-third of them want to come here. That's not surprising to Breitbart immigration analyst Bob Price.

“I guess the grass is greener on the other side. You can’t blame anyone for wanting to live in the United States. But, we can’t have one-third of a country moving here,” Price said.

Seventeen percent of those polled said they'd come here illegally if it meant they could leave the crime and corruption that's currently in Mexico. Price says it's clear to him that Mexico needs to continue to try to get their country back on track.

“Hopefully they’ll continue the education, economic and energy reform we’ve seen down there,” Price explained. “Mexican leaders would like Mexico to become a country people want to stay in and I think they are taking action to do that.”

But perception is reality, and even though reforms are underway, 44% of Mexicans think life is better on the American side of the border.
