Pump prices shouldn't go too much higher -- after increasing by 30 cents nationwide in the past month. What’s causing that? Financial strategist Clark Hodges says we might even see it drop a bit in the coming weeks so people won't decide just to pass on trips to see family next month.
“The next event we're looking at is Easter driving,” Hodges says, “and I would suspect, before Easter, it will pull back a little bit on a national average.”
Hodges says he doubts the explanations for the big increase.
“I'm a little bit skeptical,” he explains, “because, say, three or four years ago -- before that I never heard this excuse because why gas prices were rising.”
The Texan says he thinks summer blend may just be an excuse to hit you at the gas pump.
