The Houston Texans are much improved after a preseason embarrassment last week in Arizona.  They beat the Atlanta Falcons 32-7 in front of the home crowd at NRG Stadium

Starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick led the offense to two first half touchdowns.  He was 9-12 passing for 97-yards.  Jonathon Grimes again led all rushers with 42-yards on the ground.  Arian Foster and Andre Johnson were again missing from the lineup, along with linebacker Brian Cushing.

On defense, rookie Jadeveon Clowney again gave fans a glimpse of his potential with one tackle for a loss and a quarterback sack.

The team hits the road again next Saturday, facing the Broncos in Denver.

The Texans open the regular season September 7th at home against the Washington Redskins.
