One person is dead after a rear-end crash with a fire truck on the Gulf Freeway early Saturday morning.
Police say a car rear-ended a fire truck near Airport. The driver, 26-year-old Ricky Goodwin is now facing intoxication manslaughter after his passenger was killed in the crash.
Police say a witness who is also an off-duty police officer said Goodwin may have been racing another vehicle. There were two firefighters in the truck and complained of heck and head pain after the crash but should recover.
