A real estate heir who admitted to killing his Galveston neighbor more than ten years ago has run afoul of the law again.

According to the Associated Press, Robert Durst was arrested outside his New York home on a trespassing violation.  He reportedly showed up at his brother’s midtown Manhatttan home in June after being told to stay away.

The 70-year old Durst was arrested as a fugitive in 2001 after killing his neighbor and dumping the remains into Galveston Bay.  He was acquitted after claiming self-defense.

Durst’s family runs The Durst Organization, a privately held real estate company that owns several New York skyscrapers.
