Daily Reminder: Bernie Sanders is a Millionaire With Three Homes

Here's your daily reminder that Bernie Sanders is a frickin' liar.

Sen. Bernie "Share the Wealth" Sanders hopped into the 2020 presidential race this week with a promise to transform our country into a far-left dystopian hellhole where everyone gets their meals from a breadline and rich people are vilified for their efforts to succeed.

The self-described socialist’s high-end income, multiple homes and jet-setting travel habits make his concerns about climate change and income inequality seem a bit disingenuous. It's safe to say his bite doesn't always match his bark.

Bernie says, "Our campaign is about transforming our country and creating a government based on the principles of economic, social, racial and environmental justice."

Okay, but you're a rich white guy with three homes and a million dollar annual income.  Throw in the fact that you were recently accused of bank fraud and your wife bankrupted a college while you toted ideas about how to give everyone in America a free 4-year degree and it's starting to sound like you're either corrupt, stupid or a combination of both.

In 2016 Bernie purchased a $575,000 lake-front beach home. This, in addition to a row house in Washington D.C., and another house in Burlington, Vermont, means Bernie isn't exactly living the socialist lifestyle.

So how is Bernie earning over a million a year off socialist rhetoric?

Well, in addition to his annual salary from Congress, he's also brought in $885,767 from his book sales last year. That's a lotta books! Why did he even charge people money for them? Shouldn't he be giving them away so everyone can share his common knowledge of socialistic idiocy?

Look, for whatever it's worth, I don't have a problem with Bernie earning all this money. It's his life and he's welcome to work as hard as he wants to reap the rewards. That's what's Awesome about America. You can do anything if you work hard enough! What a country!

No, my problem with Bernie stems from the fact that he shames the rich at any given moment and he also happens to qualify as one of their ilk. You can't say you hate affluence while simultaneously pulling in a 7-figure salary that you didn't immedietly donate to charity. Your tax-the-rich mantra is a lie.  Practice what you preach or stop preaching it.
