The specifics are fun, like the introduction of name brands...Oreos, Ritz crackers.....but to generalize, in the 1910’s Americans were fascinated with consuming wild meat like caribou and elk. 1920’s it was Caesar salad, the Depression brought meat loaf, WWII rationing gave us margarine giving way to TV dinners and jello molds in the 50’s.
