What we were taught in school about George Washington, in my day and even now, pales in contrast to what you learn about the man as you grow up. Currently, many are now noticing his warning to Americans about the danger of political parties and the “unprincipled” who would use them to usurp the power of the people. That was part of President Washington’s farewell address…then he went home. Maybe to brew some beer.
What we will see this summer is an adaptation of George Washington’s personal beer recipe, delivered by Budweiser in time for the 4th of July.
