You could say United is uniting itself…consolidating 1400 of its employees under one roof in a new lease downtown.
It’s 225-thousand square feet of space in the newest Hines Tower on Main Street. Quite a footprint in downtown for the once Houston-based Continental, now Chicago-based United.
Cost to develop the space was at least 43 million dollars and features a tech center, two employee gardens, and personal work stations designed to look like business class seats on an airplane.
Great new digs for those 1400 United employees. Another 200 will be moving to Bush Intercontinental Airport where United has a major hub.
