Great news for those of us who know the importance of breakfast, but haven’t always been the biggest fan of breakfast foods.

Now we can continue with those pizza slices….cold or hot. and know we’ve consumed a balanced breakfast meal.   It’s got protein.  Carbs.  Vegetables too.   What you don’t find in cereal.  In fact,  compare a slice of pizza to a bowl of cereal and milk….you come up with about the same amount of calories… with a bigger protein punch, some necessary daily fat, and not even close to the amount of sugar typically found in today’s processed, cold cereals.

So throw on the extra sauce and vegetables, stick with the olive oil and leaner cheeses and meats…..that’s a balanced breakfast the on-the-go, delicious way.

And while we’re thinking about it….. don’t forget those breakfast tacos too.
