The year of these nutcracker gifts was 2012. It was my first Christmas as an employee of iHeart Media....the longtime tv anchorwoman who came out of retirement to begin a new career in radio.
The transition was a bigger leap than I knew at the time. The news was not so different, of course: terrorism (Benghazi), politics and politics and politics. It was a Presidential election year.
But radio was and is a brand new world for me, in leading technology, and content and feedback that constantly evolves live, faster than words can keep up. I love it! So what's the significance of the 2012 nutcrackers? Ah, the Land of Oz...and reminder, "you're not in Kansas anymore".
