We live in a nation divided and maybe always have. Diverse opinions are nothing new among a countrymen of diverse backgrounds. Yet Americans of differing opinions have nonetheless had a similar sentiments of place... historically.

That common bond of being American is strained...almost beyond recognition to many of us. Where should be find it again? Maybe at the gravesides of our fallen. This Memorial Holiday let's honor those who died, securing our diversity, our freedom, our place in the world.

From current conflicts reaching back to pre-Revolutionary days, men and women who came from a diversity of background and were willing to die for the rights and the values of being these United States of America. Keep that and them in your memory.
