How great is this?  An app for you to know your trees in Houston.  We do have a somewhat unrecognized urban forest in this city,  and now you can see for yourself with My City’s Trees.  Thanks once more to Texas A&M Forest Service for creating the app with help through grants and the Houston-Galveston Area Council.  It’s all tied in with a national urban forest inventory.  But back to Houston.

You can see tree species, age range and the canopy cover provided….how about the oxygen being emitted?  That’s what I’d like to see.
