Sometimes it’s easy to forget or overlook things. .. overlooking that Children's Book Week is upon us…forgetting how important it is for kids to read, personally, how it helped make me who I am.
There will always be something about libraries and book stores, just holding a book and opening it to read that gives me a sense of being and stability, contentment. It began early for me and I hope it does for your youngsters too. If you’re trying to pull yours away from the ever-present video and e-screens, you can get some help at The Woodlands Children’s Museum, which is highlighting this week with appearance and readings by authors of engaging children’s books. If you’re out of touch with what to steer your children toward in their reading, this might be a good place to start. I’ve linked you to it at KTRH.COM.
