That sea of white in the House Chamber was noticeable and, to me, disconcerting. What was that all about? My quick-witted colleague John Labus suggested, “the sign of surrender”?
Not the intent. Reportedly, Democrat women wore the white to acknowledge Suffragettes and empowerment of women, who in their estimation remain a huge class of victims in this year 2017. Did you see how many of that supposed victim class, duly elected Representatives of the people, were wearing white in the House Chamber of the Capitol of the United States? Thanks to John, I will now see those white outfits as a surrender… of any attempt at upholding the honor and seriousness of their postions… opting instead to make a fashion statement.... especially when they showed the white on their backs, exiting before the President even left the podium A bunch of white noise from the women in Congress, but at least they didn’t wear those pink hats.
