A majority of polling in the United States in the last five to ten years has virtually lost all resect among people. Particularly during elections where President Trump is involved, there is constant miscalculation, or blatant lying in polls to affect fundraising. We were told in 2024 that Ann Selzer's Iowa poll had Kamala Harris winning, and voting red was futile. We all know how it turned out; Trump won in a landslide.

Here we are again in 2026, and it has become more of the same from the lauded pollsters. Many surveys from Maine to Texas are showing close races in normally deep red states, while also showing very close races in areas that would typically be Democrat. People are not answering the polls either, which is creating skewed data and not giving a true feel of how Americans will actually vote.

If you listen to the mainstream media, it is almost a carbon copy of 2024. Every poll that gets run recently has Democrats surging towards a "blue wave" once again, claiming for the 5th time that Texas is going blue. It is all hunky dory; everything is wonderful for Democrats and Republicans are dead in the water. But in typical legacy media fashion, they are hiding the bad news for Democrats.

One of the Democrats own, veteran pollster Mark Penn, told Fox News recently that he predicts the GOP will retain control of the Senate in November. Yet, you have not heard a peep about it in the legacy media or seen any signals that they might be overestimating the "blue wave."

Matt Margolis of PJ Media says things are not always what they seem on the surface.

"Democrats assumed there was going to be a blue wave, but when you look closely, you realize things are not as strong for them as they seem because of weak candidates," he says.

Michigan is one state in particular where the "weak candidate" title applies. Senate Candidate Abdul El-Sayed is not weak as a campaigner necessarily, but in terms of what typical Americans want, he is nowhere in the stratosphere of being qualified. Really, any self-proclaimed socialist on the ballot is under the weak candidate umbrella, solely because they deviate so hard from traditional American values.

Yet the polls show El-Sayed leading in Michigan against Republican Mike Rogers. It is the same here in Texas, where James Talarico deviates so far to the Left, there is virtually no chance of victory. Neither has a legitimate political platform. They just utter nonsense. But here they are, showing up in polls that say they have the lead. It is the longest running movie at the drive-in and Americans are getting tired of seeing it.

"I think it is obvious we are seeing what we have seen in the past...where the polls grossly overestimate the strength of Democrat candidates," says Margolis. "Then what happens? Republicans end up winning the states we expected them to win all along...and I think we will see that happen again in November."

The legacy media though will not let you see it that way. They will continue pumping sunshine and rainbows for the Democrats, saying the polling is great and everything is fine.

"That is all about getting them to raise money to potentially make these states competitive when they otherwise would not be," Margolis says.

Raise money all they want; the Democrats are broken. They are desperate, running out of political relevance and time. They are throwing anything at the wall, trying to discourage voters.

It might have worked in the past. Do not expect it to work this time.
