Disgraced Dr. Anthony Fauci will be back in the hot-seat today, testifying in a Senate hearing on the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic. The hearing will be lead by longtime Fauci critic, Rand Paul.
"At the crux of all of this is that Rand Paul has accused Fauci of misleading congress under oath" said Amanda Head, White House correspondent for 'Just The News', "The unfortunate thing is that Anthony Fauci has been around this town for a very long time."
And it's been awhile since Fauci had to face any tough questions, last appearing before congress in June of 2024. Just a few days ago, the shocking 'Fauci diaries' were released.
"It's going to be hard to pin him down" Head told KTRH, noting that since that last hearing, Fauci was given a full pre-emptive blanket pardon by outgoing president Joe Biden. But while Fauci cannot be criminally charged at this point, he is also not allowed to plead the 5th to any questions. With that said, don't hold your breath for a lot of revealing answers.
"Obviously for all of us, we would much rather Anthony Fauci be pinned down on serious crimes" noted Head, "They lied to us, and millions of people died."
The one answer we may never get: How is that no one has faced any consequences for what happened during Covid?
