A New Jersey family is demanding justice after catching their late mother’s ex-husband has repeatedly urinated on her grave.
Linda Torello passed away in 2017 at the age of 66 after a bout with cancer. She is buried in the cemetery at Tappan Reformed Church in Orangetown, NY.
Terello’s kids first noticed a plastic bag of poop at their mother’s grave in April and thought it was something left by mistake by a dog walker.
Then it happened again.
They called po-po and got permission from the cemetery manager to place trail cameras in the trees to see if they could catch the vandal.
When they checked the camera footage, they spotted the culprit: a man who was briefly married to Torello in the 1970s.
The late woman’s son wrote on Facebook:
“A man from Bergen county New Jersey has been leaving bags of poo and pissing on my mothers tombstone almost every morning like a normal routine’ assisted by his wife also, we have Weeks and months of evidence. It has been reported to the police and the news outlets’ no one in my family has had contact with him since 1976 or so how he found my mothers grave site we are not sure. but this stems back to a problem almost 50 years ago…”
