A registered sex offender is accused of attacking and pulling down a woman's shorts in a gym parking lot in broad daylight.
Despite the charges and that fact that he’s a registered sex offender, Harris County Democrat Judge Frank Bynum freed the suspect, Baloch Yousef, on bond of just $100.
Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman said about the arrest of Yousef:
“On September 16, 2022, at approximately 8:20am, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the Planet Fitness parking lot located at 21356 Kuykendahl road in reference to an assault.
Upon deputies arriving, the victim advised that when she arrived, she exited her vehicle and noticed a male suspect approaching her. She attempted to avoid him but he quickly caught up to her and grabbed her arms. She stated that he looked at her pelvic area and pulled down her shorts.
The victim was able to break away and the suspect fled on foot. She was able to provide deputies a video recording she captured on her cell phone. Deputies immediately recognized the suspect as Baloch Yousef, a registered sex offender who resides in the area.”
