A video of a home fireworks display going haywire has gone viral after being posted to Reddit.
The video was first posted in the subreddit Crazyf***ingvideos but has since been removed by the original uploader.
“In the video, a family can be seen sitting on the lawn in front of a home with lawn chairs as multiple people attempt to set up a fireworks display. Throughout the footage, the logo for SimpliSafe home security systems can be seen in the top corner.
The first firework goes off and sparks fly close to the people who set it off as well as those sitting down. Either due to the sparks or another firework, a fire erupts at the back of a parked van in the driveway.
A woman can be seen quickly rushing out of her seat to grab a young child and shield them from the firework display gone awry.
Everyone on the lawn then begins to flee as another firework goes off causing a massive orange spark. Following this, multiple fireworks go off behind the van causing a large cloud of smoke.”
