All these unhinged Hollywood kooks want to find their cause to show that they to are down for the struggle and virtuous.
Oscar-nominated actor James Cromwell superglued himself to the counter of a Starbucks café in New York City on Tuesday to protest of the chain’s policy of charging extra for plant-based milk.
Cromwell was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 1995 for his role in Babe. He’s a typical vegan in that he’s very public about his “virtuous” diet.
Apparently it was a PETA organized event. Cromwell has been arrested multiple times in PETA protests.
Cromwell and fellow activist say they are being discriminated on because they are charged extra for vegan milk.
They also managed to work a racial angle into the protest even though picture from it shows a sea of white liberals.
They say Starbucks policy of upcharging for the milk is discriminatory toward those who suffer from lactose-intolerance, which affects people of color at a greater percentage. So thus, the chain’s policy is racist.
Cromwell said “when will you stop raking in huge profits while customers, animals and the environment suffer? When will you stop penalizing people for their ethnicities, their morals?”
