The owner of a California jewelry store managed to fend off a group of armed robbers with his handgun.
The attempted robbery happened on Monday night (Valentine's Day) at Plaza Jewelers in Menlo Park in Northern California.
Surveillance video captured the incident.
Fortunately nothing was stolen & no innocent bystanders or employees were hurt.
"The owners of this family business tell KRON4 the masked men stormed in with guns demanding cash and jewelry but the husband, who runs the store’s security, refused to back down using his own gun to keep his customers and the store safe.

Rosalba Farias owns Plaza Jewelers. Her husband, Alfonso, was the man who sprung into action when their store was targeted by the masked men Monday night.
Farias was mostly concerned for her customers who were forced to take cover."
